Valencia hosted HART for League Opener
AUGUST 28, 2025 — VALENCIA, CA
There was a lot of energy in the air as the anticipation grew for the home league opener at Valencia High School, as they hosted the HART Hawks for Thursday night’s game. A taco truck was parked outside, and inside they were selling delicious home made cupcakes that were off the charts!
Valencia came out strong winning the 1st set with a score of 25-20. The second set HART came alive and challenged the Lady Vikings, battling back and forth until HART got the upper hand and won 25-23. From then on, Valencia was on the defensive, and struggled in the 3rd, and ultimately took HART to extra points in the 4th set, but failed to close the door, as the Hawks ultimately won the set and match.
It is always tough watching the home team feel the loss, but hats off to both teams for playing strong until the end. HART has to feel good about the win, as both teams get back in the gym next week to start preparing for their next opponents.
