COC Opens Strong against IVC
AUGUST 27, 2025 — SANTA CLARITA, CA
The College of the Canyons women’s volleyball team competed against Irvine Valley College in their home opener Wednesday, and put on a clinic of how to keep momentum flowing!
The lady Cougars dropped the first set, regrouped, and then went on to win the next three sets to beat Irvine in 4. The front row was strong, and put up some great blocks at key times, while the back row did what they could to keep any balls from hitting the floor - this set up their offense to be in system and terminal with their approaches.
