TMU Opens Conference Play with a Win
SEPTEMBER 6, 2025 — NEWHALL, CA
Saturday was the home opener for The Master’s University, and the first conference game against the visiting Arizona Christian University.
Both teams had performed well in the pre-season, and it was great to see TMU back in their home gym after playing in multiple away tournaments at HIU, Nebraska, and San Diego in the last few weeks. TMU didn’t waste any time, as they came out of the gate strong putting ACU on their heels early. The Mustangs won the first set convincingly, however they needed to work from behind in the 2nd set, as ACU got motivated! TMU ultimately won the 2nd, and then finished up the match with a convincing win in the 3rd set to go 3-0 on the day.
