The Master’s University GSAC Champs

A beautiful Saturday afternoon was the forecast for the GSAC Men’s Volleyball Championship hosted at The Master’s University where TMU took on OUAZ for the title.
TMU has been the #1 NAIA ranked team for two years now, and that hasn’t gone away. However…just a week or so earlier, while TMU was visiting OUAZ on their home court, they lost a match after tying UCLA’s winning streak! This set up quite the back story going into the finals… OUAZ wanted to prove it wasn’t just a fluke, and TMU wanted to assert itself as the dominant volleyball program in the conference, as well as in the NAIA.
Long story short….TMU proved once again that focus, hard work, and playing the game to glorify God was the recipe for a 3-set win - thus sealing their fate as conference champs, and the #1 team heading to the NAIA tournament in Iowa later this month.
