Classic Foothill League Matchup SAUGUS v HART
April 20, 2026 — Saugus, CA
In the last century, there were only three schools in the SCV that competed in the Foothill League…. Canyon, Saugus and HART. So any matchup between any of these three schools always holds a place in your heart, if you grew up in Santa Clarita! Monday night was one of those matchups…HART traveled across town to Saugus to battle in one of the final games of the regular season in the Foothill League.
HART came out strong, swinging hard, and I think caught the Centurions by surprise! There was a feeling of “oh…okay, let’s go!!!” in the gym! It was great - but it wasn’t long until Saugus gathered themselves and responded. Ultimately winning the matchup in straight sets.
