TMU Hosts NAIA Men’s Basketball Round 1 & 2
The Master's University was one of the universities selected to host the first two rounds of the NAIA Men’s Basketball tournament on March 14th and 15th. Round One matchups pitted TMU against Dakota Wesleyan, and Southern Oregon took on Montana Tech. Action was intense in both matchups, and both The Master’s and Southern Oregon prevailed and moved on to Round 2.
In Round 2, The Mustangs of TMU took a commanding lead going into halftime, which led the Raiders of Southern Oregon into a do-or-die situation coming out of the halftime break. With their backs against the wall, SOU stepped up and was able to come away with the victory in the final minutes!
Heartbreaking for TMU, but the Raiders went on to the championship bracket, and was ultimately eliminated in the quarterfinals by the #1 seed of the Duer Quadrant.
