TMU Defeats OUAZ in Five

Coming off of a tough loss against LPU, The Master’s hosted the top team in the GSAC conference this weekend - The Spirit from OUAZ. Even in warm ups, you could see that the mood was light, but the Mustangs came ready to battle their way back to the top!
TMU got off to a slow start in the 1st set, but was able to battle back to challenge OUAZ, but lost 22-25. The second set was a different story, where TMU crushed their spirit with a 25-9 win! From then on, it was tight, and could go one way or another, until the final 5th set where it seemed to be all Master’s as they powered to a final 5th set win for the match.
It was great to see such great team play, and the athletes rising to the challenge! Highlights from the game are below - TMU will be back at it on Wednesday at home, with a rematch against Life Pacific!
