21-0 The Master’s Undefeated
APRIL 9, 2025 - The Master’s University Men’s Volleyball team has just completed their regular season, and finished a perfect 21-0. This is a pretty awesome accomplishment for the team, given that they not only faced off with some good GSAC NAIA opponents, but also some of the NCAA D1 schools.
The pre-season kicked off with tournaments at Long Beach State, USC and UCLA respectively, where they competed in scrimmage play against these and other top D1 schools like CSUN and Princeton. It was a great time to test different combinations, as well as get the team exposed to higher level of play right out of the gate.
As the team moved into the regular season, they beat many non-conference teams, like Stanford, Vanguard, and Concordia (Irvine). The highlight of the pre-season by many is traveling up to Stanford to take them on in their house, and come away with the 3-2 victory!
The Mustangs will start their post season next week, April 14th in a home game to open the GSAC Championship. Lord willing, from there, they will hit the road and play in the NAIA National Tournament at the end of the month.
