2026 Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals are Underway

The wait is over! The 2026 NHRA Winternationals is underway at the In-N-Out Burger Dragstrip in Pomona, CA!! In comparison to the weekend, Thursday racing feels like a soft start to the weekend in terms of attendance and activity, but for those fans speckled throughout the stands, they were treated to some great racing!

Walking throughout the pits, there was a lot of activity, mainly preparing for the weekend of racing ahead of us! Thousands of fans will flock to the raceway to take in all the speed and excitement that NHRA racing provides!
Brad Pierce in his 1958 Corvette flying down the track, posting a 9.938ET
Edwin Olpin won his qualifier with a pass of 9.913ET in his 1968 Camaro
Damon Bustamante’s 0.001 second reaction time gave him the win over Michael Bridget who had a quicker overall ET!
Fred Moreno hard launched his 1969 Mustang with a 0.016RT and a 9.882ET for the win
John Irving connects with his 1973 Dodge giving us an impressive launch and topping out at over 116MPH
Ken Mostowitch dialed in the win, but just look at the colors on this Camaro!
